Cookie Policy
Three categories, one of which cannot be switched off because the site would not work without it. The other two are off until you say otherwise.

1. What a cookie is doing here
Cookies and similar browser storage let a site remember something between requests. This site uses very few, because it does very little that needs remembering. The calculator itself runs entirely on your device.
We follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you have agreed to it.
2. What we set

3. Your choice, and how to change it
On your first visit you see a banner with Reject all and Accept all. The two are the same control at the same size, in the same style, with the same prominence, and rejecting comes first in the reading order. There is also a third option to choose the categories individually.
Change it at any time with the control on this page. You can also clear the storage for londonsockcomp.shop in your browser settings, which resets the choice entirely.
Refusing the optional categories has no effect on what the service does for you.
4. Third parties
Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for load balancing and abuse prevention. If you turn on the optional categories, the corresponding provider may set its own cookies. We name the providers currently in use on request at support@londonsockcomp.shop, and the privacy page explains what each of them receives.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing for anyone in California. Since we neither sell nor share personal data, that opt-out has nothing to switch off, but the signal is respected regardless.
